TikTok Expands Symphony AI with Image-to-Video, Text-to-Video & Showcase Product Tools
TikTok expanded Symphony AI, its generative AI tool suite. New features like Image-to-Video and Text-to-Video let brands turn static images or text prompts into dynamic videos. TikTok also launched Showcase Products, which uses digital avatars to model items, try on clothing, or showcase apps.
Why It Matters: These tools will make ad creation easier for brands by letting them repurpose static content and leverage AI prompt engineering. Both small businesses with limited resources and larger brands needing content at scale stand to benefit.
However, this raises important questions about the future role of creators who have traditionally been the faces and creative drivers on the platform and how much they might be impacted if brands increasingly rely on these AI-powered tools instead of collaborating with creators to produce TikTok ads.
